Chief Physician Themistoklis Stavrakis, M.D.

Specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery

Years of experience in plastic and aesthetic surgery, along with his previous role as chief physician at a renowned German clinic, shape the professional career of our founder.

A particular focus is on minimally invasive treatments such as Botox® and hyaluronic acid injections, where precision, anatomical understanding, and a fine aesthetic sense are crucial.

In addition to his clinical work, our founder serves as an international trainer for aesthetic injection techniques. For over 10 years, he has regularly organized and led workshops and training sessions for physicians and is actively involved in the development and management of training programs and academy structures in the field of aesthetic medicine.

This continuous work at the highest professional level, along with close collaboration with colleagues worldwide, directly influences every treatment.

In our practice clinic in Berlin, we follow a clear approach: individually planned treatments tailored to anatomy, expression, and personal wishes – with the goal of achieving natural results that are not noticeable but convincing.

Frequently Asked Questions about Botulinumtoxin (Botox®)

Botulinum toxin type A is one of the most thoroughly studied substances in aesthetic medicine. Every treatment is carried out personally by our Head Physician, a specialist in Plastic Surgery, following a prior review of your medical history and any medications.

Botulinum toxin treatments are generally possible from the age of 18. Some patients start as early as their early twenties for a medically indicated reason, for example masseter treatment for teeth grinding. Others begin in their mid-to-late twenties with a low-dose, preventive Baby Botox® treatment, and some start later still. What matters is the lines you actually have and how you feel about them — not a fixed age.

Very fine needles are used and the injection itself is brief. Most patients experience only mild discomfort, comparable to a short pinch.

The effect typically lasts between three and six months and varies individually, depending on dosage, muscle activity, and metabolism.

Initial effects are usually visible after two to four days, with the full result apparent after around two weeks. For this reason, treatment shortly before an important event is not recommended.

Clinical studies confirm the safety of botulinum toxin. Possible, temporary side effects include a small bruise at the injection site or a mild feeling of tightness. When the treatment is performed by an experienced specialist with many years of expertise, other complications and risks can be minimized or virtually eliminated.

Treatment is not advised during pregnancy, breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions. Whether it is suitable in your individual case is determined during a personal consultation.

The treatment usually takes only a few minutes. Downtime is generally not necessary.

Botulinum toxin type A is the active ingredient. Several approved products contain it, including Botox®, in varying concentrations and formulations.

Every treatment is carried out exclusively by our Chief Physician — a board certified Plastic Surgeon, with over 20 years of experience treating with Botox®, and more than 10 years as a trainer.
